Do i have to declare my modifcations to direct line?

Anything that chnages the vehicle from "standard" would have to be declared. This usually means around performance, but I guess fancy, expensive alloy wheels could fall into this category as well. If in doubt speak to Direct Line. Unlike some of the other answers I do not believe they will charge you for just anything......but will a realistic view of the modifications. At the end of the day, if you do not tell them and you have a claim, they could repudiate the claim on the basis of you not been forthcoming with the information........you have an obligation of utmost good faith.
