Starmate 5 sirius radio?...?

ok, so I bought the starmate 5, the only radio compatible with a la carte package. I've been trying since january to get the a la carte package. Sirius is having an issue that they say they need to fix, but it's april now, and still not fixed! I got the radio simply because in the long run it was going to be cheaper. Sirius isn't fixing the problem though. I'm seriously thinking of cancelling with them altogether. Ya'll got any ideas how I can get them to fix it already rather than cancelling? I've called so many times that they say they're going to just call me when it's fixed. I've also emailed, but to no avail! I'm beginning to think that they knew it was too good of a deal, so they're simply making the radios that are suppose to be compatible not compatible and not bothering to tell the folks that have it! What's up with this? Clue me in! Thanks a bunch!! 10 to the one with the best answer!!!
