If Mars was colonized, how do you think it would, also how it should, be governed?And what would that lead to?

I think it would be a reasonable facsimile of early explorers. The environment and population determines what government would be needed. At first, it would probably be like the wild west; sparse, dangerous landscape with chances of isolation for long periods of time. Since you said the separation from earth is only hours...then I think the situation would take on that of a protectorate...or the like. Different planet or not, the closeness of response would put it on par with a neighboring country in distance.
