Can you tell me what happened to my family tree?

My Great grandfathers name was John. My grandfathers name was Pink (very common name for babies during the 1920's) My fathers name was Anthony. As the generation went on, the whiteness in my family went away. My father married a muslim Indonesian woman and my name is Mohammed.How can this happen? The whiteness to just simply vanish in a few generations... How can a partially white partially African American family produce a child named Mohammed? I feel so out of place as everybody in my family is either African American, White, or a mixture of both.
