Help on growing african american hair?

I'm not african american but i have african american friends who actually recommended a product for me to grow out my hair as well. As odd as it seems, horse shampoo is actually very beneficial and contains many vitamins that help with hair growth. Its non damaging and it works wonderfully. hope this helps:)
