I don't understand what the hell the Footy Show was up to?

Why were the papers screaming that Geoff Carr's threats to ban Israel were providing free advertising for AFL, but then the Footy Show had Money Bill on just to announce that he's going back to NZ to play for the All Blacks... What the? What on earth were they thinking? Granted, Geoff Carr should probably shut up, but that's just free advertising for Union and nobody in league circles should give a damn what Money Bill is up to.
