What's this song?

Hey everybody! I'm looking for this song on the new MITSUBISHI commercial. The beginning starts out with a drum loop while it is showing the interior of the car, then you hear "I was walkin' down the street" Just hearing it, to me, it sounds like Jimi Hendrix. But I haven't heard many of his songs. So can somebody please tell me the artist, and the name of the song?
